Terms of Service

The agreement behind your use of RESPADE

These terms set out what you can expect from RESPADE and what we expect in return - covering your trial and subscription, your data, acceptable use and the limits of the service.

Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you (the agent, agency or brokerage using the service) and Respade Private Limited ("RESPADE"). By starting a trial or using RESPADE, you accept these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of an agency, you confirm you have authority to do so.

Your trial and subscription

  • The free trial lets you evaluate RESPADE without a card, for the period stated when you sign up.
  • Paid plans - Agent, Agency and Brokerage - are billed as described on the pricing page, and confirmed with you before any charge.
  • Agent and Agency plans are billed monthly with no long lock-in. Brokerage terms are agreed as part of onboarding.
  • You can stop using the service and close your account at any time; fees already billed for a current period are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

Your data stays yours

The policyholder records, documents and other content you put into RESPADE remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export your book, and we delete your data after account closure other than what we must retain by law.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep your login details secure and make sure the people you invite use the service appropriately.
  • Ensure you have the right to hold and use the policyholder data you enter, and that you meet your own regulatory obligations as an insurance intermediary.
  • Use RESPADE lawfully - not to store unlawful content, not to attempt to breach its security, and not to disrupt the service for others.

What RESPADE does, and doesn't, do

RESPADE is software that helps you organise and act on your book. Its lapse-risk scores, coverage-gap flags and lead scores are decision aids to help you prioritise - they are not guarantees of outcomes, financial advice, or a substitute for your professional judgement. Decisions about your clients' cover remain yours.

Availability

We work to keep RESPADE available and reliable, but the service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. We may carry out maintenance, and we may update or improve features over time. Where a change materially affects how you use the service, we'll aim to let you know in good time.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RESPADE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for business decisions made using the service's outputs. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, giving notice where it's reasonable to do so. On termination, your right to use the service ends and the data provisions above apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to the registered office of Respade Private Limited.
